Tamara Diane Menzies is marked by a passion for Jesus, and an undeterrable love for the Church. She is a loving wife and step-mom, and enjoys time with her family and community. Hosting is a normal part of the bustle in her home. Alongside gardening, cooking, painting, and drinking too much coffee with a friend or a journal, she has a distinct love for understanding the human heart. Tending to the soul has been an enduring point of focus and growth, and counselling is a ministry and calling that she feels honored to be entrusted with. As a Registered Social Worker, she has worked in many counselling roles over the past ten plus years. After receiving training in prayer counselling in 2015, Beyond the River was born, becoming a place where her formal education and her faith were delightfully amalgamated.
